经济型酒店昔日疯狂扩张开店的好时光不再，而中端酒店市场似乎正在重现当年跑马圈地的热闹场景。
近期，多家经济型酒店集团都宣告了在中端酒店开拓上的动作。锦江股份翻牌了位于上海福建南路的一家锦江之星，改建为新品牌“康铂”，在收购法国卢浮酒店集团后正式引入法国Campanile品牌。在如家并入首旅集团之后出任首旅酒店总经理的如家创始人孙坚也表示，要在中高端酒店市场快速“进入状态”。
严峻的现实是，经济型酒店发展进入衰退期，从几大经济型酒店的年报来看，无论是入住率还是RevPAR (每间可供出租客房收入)都呈下降趋势。面对租金、人工成本上涨，新物业难以拓展等问题，经济型酒店转型中端酒店成为大方向。但是中端酒店是否能承载经济型酒店转型的使命?

Although the hotel is somewhat remote from the historic center (and thus some of the main sightseeing attractions) it is rather easy to get there by bus as there are at least 2 bus stations nearby. Several small supermarkets/stores in the immediate vicinity might be an additional plus. My bedroom looked outworn but it was still OK, whereas the bathroom might need a refurbishment. Staff are rather friendly, however I didn`t bother them that much anyway. All in all it is definetely alright for a short stay of one or two nights, in particular with regard to the price you pay.
