瑞士酒店集团近日宣布，已与Mohammed Ibrahim Al Subeaei & Sons投资公司(MASIC)达成协议，联手在沙特阿拉伯开设一家拥有180间客房的瑞士酒店。
库拜尔瑞士酒店(Swissôtel Al Khobar)坐落于MASIC商业园内，地处库拜尔城区商业住宅区繁华地段，预计将于2019年开业。MASIC商业园项目涵盖约55,000平方米(近592,000平方英尺)的零售及优质办公空间，势将成为东部地区一座令人瞩目的地标。
除180间客房外，库拜尔瑞士酒店还将设有逾1,300平方米(近14,000平方英尺)的会议活动空间和丰富多样的餐饮选择，从瑞士咖啡厅(Café Swiss)到瑞士美食餐厅(Swiss Gourmet)，再到池畔及烧烤餐厅，可谓应有尽有。酒店秉承活力与健康的理念，还将开设一座瑞士酒店品牌标志的Pürovel水疗与运动中心，同时配备的户外屋顶泳池也是一大特色所在。酒店所属的综合开发项目还将建造20套奢华现代的公寓住宅，根据瑞士酒店品牌的Swissôtel Living生活理念，向住户提供高端礼遇及全天候服务。
这一合作标志着瑞士酒店及其母公司FRHI酒店集团在沙特阿拉伯东部地区的石油业中心成立第一家合资企业。

Although the hotel is somewhat remote from the historic center (and thus some of the main sightseeing attractions) it is rather easy to get there by bus as there are at least 2 bus stations nearby. Several small supermarkets/stores in the immediate vicinity might be an additional plus. My bedroom looked outworn but it was still OK, whereas the bathroom might need a refurbishment. Staff are rather friendly, however I didn`t bother them that much anyway. All in all it is definetely alright for a short stay of one or two nights, in particular with regard to the price you pay.
